First Post

Well I have nothing poignant to say,....but I thought I'd start a blog for my new pedal company.  What started out as Effects Junkie is blossoming into Heavy Drone FX.  Effects Junkie will continue to exist unofficially and will be to distinguish between prototypes and production; Heavy Drone being the latter.  A good cyberfriend suggested the name Heavy Drone and I really liked it and decided to go with it.

I'm pretty much into Fuzzes.  There are tons of people out there way more educated than I in the way of Fuzz but with a curious and open mind I'm hoping to gain that knowledge and make a name for myself in this seemingly competitive market.  Future plans are to expand into modulation effects, amps and synths but for learning and growing Fuzzes, Distortions, Overdrives, and Boosts will be my starting point.

I'll likely start out visiting often overlooked designs and include modifications and improvements eventually working my way into designing my own circuits.

Things will likely be slow around here and as I get the lay of the land there will be improvements to the page. but I'm hoping to essentially turn this into the place to come outside of the EffectsJunkie Facebook page for all things Heavy Drone including soundclips, FAQs and ordering.  Thanks for stopping by.  TTFN
